Former Resident Artist (2009-2010 Lormina Salter Fellow)Korean born artist Haejung Lee was the 2009–2010 Lormina Salter Fellow at Baltimore Clayworks. She received her first Master of Fine Art concentrating on ceramics at Kyung Hee University in South Korea in 2002 and a second master’s degree in ceramics at Louisiana State University in 2008. She has been an Artist-in-residence at The Banff Centre in Canada and at Guldagergård-International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark in 2003 and 2004 as well as Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan ROC in 2011. She presents her work internationally and has been awarded several remarkable prizes such as best of show, award of distinction, silver prize as well as others in both Korea and USA. She currently works in her own studio in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
